Doireann Nix BA - Theatre Totz and Musical TheatreTutor

Doireann is from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. She holds an honors degree in Early Childhood Care and Education from Mary Immaculate College Limerick, from which she graduated in 2010. Since then she has worked with young children and education in various settings. A proud mammy herself, Doireann also works in Stepping Stones creche and montessori Clonmel.
Doireann has been involved in performing from a young age, in stage productions, choirs and behind the scenes. An active member of St Mary's Choral Society Clonmel for many years, she performed in shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, Oliver, the Mikado and Oklahoma. Doireann assisted with the children during the societies 2012 production of The Wizard of Oz. Doireann has been a core member of all of the Bellvue Academy past productions, public appearances and charity events. As well as this she was the Assistant Direction of the 2016 production of The Jungle Book and 2017's Pure Imagination.

Emmet Donlan BMus, DipLCM- Trumpet,Vocal and Musical Theatre Tutor

Emmet resides in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. In 2012, Emmet graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology with an honours bachelor degree in Music in which he majored in Jazz Trumpet Performance.
He has been a member of Banna Chluain Meala since he was 11 years old for the last 5 years has been an instrumental and marching instructor of the band. Just recently, Emmet has been appointed as the Corps Director of the bands marching & fieldshow unit, The Clonmel Bluehawks.
Emmet has been a member of Clonmels local musical society St. Mary's Choral Society and has played numerous principal roles through the years most notably Charlie Cameron in Brigadoon, Will Parker in Oklahoma, Freddie Trumper in Chess, Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof, Prince Charming in Cinderella & most recently Tony in West Side Story which was staged in April 2016. Other notable roles were Troy Bolton in Stagecraft's Highschool Musical, Anthony Hope in Carrick-on-Suir's Sweeney Todd and Jean Valjean in Watergate Kilkenny's Production of Les Misérables.
In 2012, Emmet joined the Irish Defence Forces and currently serves with Band 1 Bde, Collins Barracks, Cork, playing Cornet/Trumpet. He is also a vocalist with the band. Under the guidance and direction of Keith Greene and Lisa O' Brien, Emmet just recently obtained a diploma in Musical Theatre with the London College of Musical Theatre and is currently studying for his Associate diploma.

Ellen Foley - Theatre Totz Tutor

Ellen is from Carrick-on-Suir Co.Tipperary and is currently studying Theatre and Drama Studies in the Cork School of Music. Ellen has been involved in the arts from a very early age, and she joined Carrick-on-Suir Musical Society in 2015 where she stared in her first pantomime “Snow White and the Babes in the Wood”. Ellen has been involved with every production within the society since then either on stage or behind the scenes.
In 2017 Ellen joined Bellvue Academy of Performing Arts as a vocal student of Keith Dwyer-Greene and that same year joined the “Performerz” Drama class appearing as Tanya in Bellvue Academy’s production of “Dancing Queen” in 2018. In 2019 got to put some elements of her training in CSM so far to the test by operating lights for the 2019 production of “Hairspray”. In 2018 she also obtained a Grade 6 Distinction in Voice with LCM.

In 2018, Ellen was selected as a Mentor for the Theatre Totz group in Bellvue and loved working with the young students. This is an area she feels she is particularly suited to as working with these students bring back fond memories of how she felt as a young girl starting out in the world of performance.
Ellen is delighted to be joining the Bellvue teaching staff for the 2019 season and cannot wait to get started.

Kirsty Keating - Choreographer and Dance Tutor

Kirsty is from Clonmel Co. Tipperary. She has been involved in many productions over the years, most recently playing the roles of Mrs Wormwood in “Pure Imagination” and Tracy Turnblad in “Hairspray” with Bellvue Academy. She has also performed with Creative Minds productions in “Sister Act” and “The Wedding Singer”. Kirsty was a featured dancer in Rockwell’s production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and played Mrs Higgins in their production of “My Fair Lady”.
Kirsty began dance lessons with On Your Toes in Clonmel at age 7 and danced competitively for a number of years. Kirsty has also taught dance classes to Italian students who came to Ireland as part of the twinning program the past two summers. In 2017 she choreographed the number Cell Block Tango for Excel Youth Theatres production of “Broadway” and she looks forward to taking the role of assistant-choreographer with Excel and Rosalia their production of “West Side Story” this summer.

Sinéad O' Donovan - Vocal Tutor

Sinead O’Donovan is a 20 year old musical theatre performer/soprano from Clonmel, Tipperary. Sinead trained classically with Maggie Davis in Cahir from 2013-2017 and then continued her studies in the Cork School Of Music. She is currently a 2nd year student in the Popular Music degree program, with voice being her prime instrument. Sinead has performed in numerous musicals and has played roles such as The Witch in "Into the Woods",The Narrator in Joseph, Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar, Dinah in Starlight Express , Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (Best Female Performer 2017 Greenroom Awards), Mabel in Pirates Of Penzance, and is due to sing the role of “Phoebe” in the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Yeomen Of The Guard next month in Cahir Castle.Sinead was delighted to be chosen to be in the ensemble of a new Irish musical entitled "Find Your Way Home" which premiered in Albany New York on the 17th of July, 2017, and was followed by a showing in Boston and the Symphony Space, Broadway, NYC.Other achievements for Sinead include winning the Girls Solo competition at the AIMS Choral Festival in Wexford in 2014, winning the same competition in the Navan Choral Festival in 2015, and being chosen to be a backing vocalist for Shane Filan (Westlife) and Daniel ODonnell on Daniel O'Donnell's Christmas special on RTE in 2015. Also in 2015, Sinead reached the final 10 of “The Soloist” competition to perform with the Cross Border Orchestra Of Ireland. Sinead is delighted to be joining the Bellvue team and is very excited about the year ahead.
Jennifer Williams BAMus, PGDE - Vocal and Piano Tutor

Jennifer studied the BAMus and PGDE in UCC and now teaches Music and English in the Presentation Secondary School here in Clonmel. She studied piano under Sr. Cecilia Beecher & vocal training under Ms Hilary Reynolds in UCC. Jennifer is also the founder and director of Creative Minds Productions here in Clonmel. Jennifer is delighted to be returning to Bellvue Academy of Performing Arts as a vocal and piano teacher. Since beginning work in the Clonmel area she has played various roles with several theatre groups including ‘Cinderella’s Mother’ in “Into the Woods” (Carrick-On-Suir Musical Society 2018), ‘Kate’ in “Legally Blonde” (Carrick-On-Suir Musical Society 2017), ‘Bernie’ in Willy Russell’s Stags and Hens (2011), and ‘Mercy Lewis’ in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible (2008). She has directed and produced 13 musicals in the last 9 years in Clonmel, including Sister Act, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, Annie and We Will Rock You.
Katie Coady BMus RIAM- Piano Tutor

Katie Cody is originally from Newbridge, Co. Kildare and began her musical studies in 2009 in the Ursuline Convent Thurles, where she studied piano and bassoon under Ciara Mealy. During secondary school she discovered her love for chamber music and accompaniment. She has recently completed her BMus in the CIT Cork School of Music for which she was awarded First Class Honours. During Katie’s degree she also obtained her ARIAM for Piano Teaching.
Aside from playing piano, she is an avid conductor and bassoonist. In 2018, Katie was awarded the Feis Maitiu Crowley Perpetual Cup for Senior Woodwind Recital. She has performed with many ensembles such as the Cork Concert Orchestra, the ESKER Festival Orchestra, the Irish Youth Wind Ensemble, Sinfonua, and the CSM Symphony Orchestra. She is the principal bassoonist of the Army Band of the 1st Brigade.

Adam Cullen Stafford - Guitar Tutor

Adam is originally from Cullenstown Duncormick Wexford. Adam attended the Wexford School of Music from 2006-2011 initially Studying Cello but then switched to Classical guitar.
As a teenager Adam developed a deep love of the Blues and in particular guitar players such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Duane Allman, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Through Adams study and research of these players it lead him to find a new source of influence, Jazz and eventually go onto Waterford Institute of Technology to Study both Jazz and Classical performance.
Adam is currently a third year student and has made multiple performances with the Waterford Institute of Technology Orchestra performing Jazz standards such as "Just Friends" and "They can't take that away from me". Adam is also a frequent performer in The Parlour Vintage Tea Rooms with "The Bourgeoisie Blues" Clarinet and guitar duo. Ricky Ryan - Drum Tutor

Ricky hails from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and quickly followed the family tradition of becoming a drummer!!! He joined Banna Chluain Meala at the age of eleven and remained a member for twelve years. During this time he went on to win numerous percussion titles with the Drumline, which competed for many years. He returned some years later to take up the role of percussion instructor to the junior members of the band and remained there for another two years. On a professional level he is a respected recording artist providing drums for numerous artists over the years and has toured Ireland and Europe with various acts including Swerve, Blancatransfer and Supersoul Machine. For the past two years he has played in the orchestra for Creative Minds Productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and most recently American Idiot. Ricky is a member and director of Supersoul Machine. They formed six years ago and have gone from strength to strength. In that time they have become one of the most in demand bands in the country.
Niamh Kavanagh BA, Dip in Prof. Mus, RIAM - Vocal Tutur

Originally from Clonmel, Niamh began performing with St Mary’s Choral society at the young age of 10, later taking part in senior shows like Jesus Christ Superstar and Oliver. Throughout secondary school, Niamh undertook voice lessons and grades in Musical Theatre and Classical singing with Suzanne Buttimer. After completing her leaving cert, she was accepted to the acclaimed BIMM Dublin (British and Irish Modern Music Institute), where she studied Commercial Modern Music for 4 years majoring in Vocals. Here she refined her craft under the coaching of Tine Verbeke who’s students include Danny O’Donoghue (The Script) and Bono (U2).
During college, Niamh was the Musical Director with Stagecraft Youth Theatre, DIT and DCU working on productions such as Rent, Cabaret and Pippin. Niamh has graced stages such as Vicar Street, Whelan’s and the Button Factory with numerous artists including Somebody’s Child, Ailbhe Reddy, Rosa Nutty and NC Grey. She has also performed at some of Irelands most renowned festivals like Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and Forbidden Fruit. You may have previously heard/seen her on shows like The Late Late Show, The Miriam O’Callaghan Show, RTÉ 2fm, Today FM, and Other Voices too. On a recording level, Niamh lent her voice to ‘Relent’ by Ailbhe Reddy, among many others. The track now has close to 1.1 million plays on Spotify.
Most recently, Niamh completed the BAST (Be A Singing Teacher) course where she was given the skills to teach voice from a scientific level as well as musical. All taught from a highly knowledgable and supportive teacher. She looks forward to putting everything she’s learned in her 10+ years of voice into practice at Bellvue.'

Aislinn McCabe BA, MA, Phd - Guest Drama Tutor and Stage Manager

Aislinn is from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and lives in Cork City. She started drama at the early age of 12 with Stagecraft Youth Theatre in Clonmel, where she was a member for 12 years. During that time she participated in many plays including Children at War, which was featured on RTE’s Nationwide, along with playing the parts of Mary Magdalene in Godspell, Taylor in High School Musical, and Juliet Romeo and Juliet to name but some. Aislinn also worked as an Assistant Director, Producer, and Director in Stagecraft where she produced the Musical Pantomime The Snow Queen, assisted in shows such as Festival, Musical Mania, A Vampire Story, The Land of Stuff, Our Day Out, and Dragonchaser, also directed many shows including Kids, LOL, Burying Your Brother in the Pavement, and To Leap from Paradise. Aislinn also holds currently holds a Grade 6 in classical flute and has worked with Bellvue Academy in the past as Stage Manager for their show Pure Imagination. Aislinn has previously graduated from University College Cork with a BA in History and Psychology and a Masters in Medieval History. She is currently researching a PhD in early Renaissance Studies with the Centre for Neo-Latin studies in UCC.
Shannan Cairns - Guest Tutor

Shannan Cairns commenced her training at 'On Your Toes, Dance Academy', Clonmel, Co.Tipperary. She then moved to England to further pursue her training and career and is a 2014 graduate of 'Leicester College of Performing Arts' achieving her BTEC level 3 extended diploma in Performing Arts, LCM grade 8 in Musical Theatre and Trinity Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. Her professional credits include working with The Spice Girls, Geri Halliwell (Australia's NRL Football Show), TV presenter Caroline Flack (Birmingham's NEC 'The Skills Show'), Sleeping Beauty, Grand Opera House, Belfast (Qdos Pantomime Productions 2013/14), Cinderella, New Theatre, Cardiff (Qdos Pantomime Productions 2014/15. Shannan was recently seen playing the role of Cha Cha Di Gregorio in Grease the Musical 2014 (Festival Productions, The Gaeity Theatre, Dublin), Grease the Musical (RTE's, The Late Late Show). Other musical credits throughout her training include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Witches of Eastwick, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Grease and Little Shop of Horrors.
